"The quality of your impact often matters much more than the quantity of your activities”
Business Advisor & Consultant
Improving the business conversation
I am someone with a genuine desire to listen to others and someone who has the skills to hear what people are not saying in contrast to what they are willing to say.
Who is listening to you? |
Business leaders are typically experts in their field who often need help in their business. Through conversation and analysis I have helped many business owners find clarity and focus when they needed it. I am an exceptional business generalist who often sees what others don't. I've been able to guide others in creating a path forward; often a path that has been hidden from them.

Supporting the Success of Others
Here is a brief sketch of some of the people and places I've served:
Hired to champion and launch a new division in an existing digital transformation company, Bonnie worked collaboratively within a small team to build out marketing collateral, cold outreach messaging and campaigns that leveraged "old school" ideas to drive engagement. From identifying target markets and strategic partners, to refining the voice of the brand, she excelled at initial discovery meetings with qualified prospects to communicate immediate business justification for the investment generating valuable client relationships. "Bonnie's attention to detail, commitment to quality, and critical approach to business processes made a significant contribution to the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales and operational strategies" Carrie Izsak, SVP
|
Worked with the Co-Founder of IPM Scoutek to improve upsell and cross-selling opportunities within key clients bringing value to a variety of strategic relationships and partnership opportunities. "I appreciate your approach when dealing with you. I feel like you were able to get to the heart of what was being said and work on the details. It was a refreshing experience" Brandon S. VP

Bonnie was hired by Pinnacle Lifestyle Resorts to replace a 3rd party sales and marketing company that had proven themselves to be untrustworthy, during the launch of a recreational property in Alberta. She tackled sales process issues confronting serious communication challenges head on. The establishment of a membership committee was used to strengthen the lines of communication and bring a sense of trust and belonging to this early stage community. "Bonnie, when we heard you left Pinnacle we were very sad. You were the best thing to happen to Pinnacle and you will certainly be missed by all my family" Tina W. PTR Member

Bonnie worked with the leadership team at Total North Communications as part of their new Business Advisory Board, helping them with strategic planning toward their growth goals. Here's what they said about working with her: "Bonnie was an exceptional asset to our Business Advisory Board. From her C-level visionary capacity to her exceptional eye for marketing detail; it was a pleasure working with a consultant that took the time to fully understood our brand and goals before embarking on our strategic exercise. We've implemented a number of Bonnie's ideas and they are taking our company to the next level!" Josh Clark, Vice President

Working with the founders at Grantbook, Bonnie developed sales operations processes and procedures their startup could embrace. Introducing pipeline management best practices, forecasting discipline and closing strategies, contributed to defining company goals and objectives in practical terms. In addition, Bonnie also provided coaching and mentoring to leadership and key staff members.

Bonnie helped the founder at Switchboard mature operational processes as well as improve and streamline proposal development. Providing coaching and mentoring of leadership and key staff helped address some internal communication challenges while gaining insight into some cultural issues at the company that ultimately improved transparency and strengthened teamwork.

Working with Yukon College's Cold Climate Innovation program Bonnie supported the founder of Frostbyte Software Design, who created of the Borealist Marketplace, a custom online buy and sell website for the Yukon. She worked with him to evaluate the site's commercial viability. The business owner needed to explore his ideas and goals for the site to help him look forward to make some important decisions. Here's what Marko says about working with Bonnie "It was outstanding - Bonnie was able to communicate everything about my business in such a clear, matter-of-fact manner, much better than I could ever dream of. The things I had in my mind but couldn't quite articulate, Bonnie could figure them out and write them down so concisely. I now feel I have a greater understanding of how my business could develop and grow. Thanks again, Bonnie!" Marko Marjanovic, Owner

Working with Yukon College's Cold Climate Innovation Program, Bonnie supported the founder of Boreal Compost Enterprises (BCE) to help him transition the company from years of R&D to commercial readiness. This ground breaking inventor had just completed his testing phase securing patents and was already in discussion with a US agricultural equipment manufacture interested in a global licensing agreement. Working directly with the inventor, Bonnie was able to secure funding from Economic Development to develop a working project plan. She created the outline for the launch of the company's beta program. Here is what the founder says about his experience: "Bonnie, thank you for everything. I could not have done it without you..." Supporting Others for a Long Time...
In addition to the examples above, Bonnie has supported some great consulting, technology, software and services companies over the years. Her strong technical aptitude, process centric thinking and focus on prioritization and execution, enables Bonnie to easily move across industries and concentrate on building the fundamentals.
